In 1954, Mr. Saha introduced hearing aid as a commercial venture, trading and dispensing hearing aids from his two centres in the Dharmotalla Area. |

The late Chandi Charan Saha the founder of C.C.Saha Ltd.was a well known pioneering business man of his time.In August 1933, he set up the firm carrying his name, C.C.Saha Ltd. with head office in 45, Moti Sil Street and showroom at 170, Dharmatalla street.
World renowned Dutch Company, M/s. Philips appointed C.C.Saha Ltd.sole distributors of their radios for the Eastern Sector consisting of Bengal Bihar, Orissa & Assam. |

The company prospered and in 1954 became the first company in India to import hearing aids on a commercial basis.
In those days when audiologists were non-existent, Mr.C.C.Saha brought in two audiometers with which he taught three of his staff to draw the audiograph of the hearing loss of the patients for the ENT Doctors of that time.The company also sold a huge number of hearing aids. |

Today with the advent of the technically superior digital hearing aids, the company is in the forefront of the hearing aid business in the country with two units equipped with three anechoic chambers and three audiologists with the latest and most sophisticated instruments to test their patients'hearing and dispense the most suitable hearing aids. |
